About Hazelmead:

Equal parts hopeless and romantic, Hazelmead emerged from her room with poetry in her mouth and her mother’s guitar singing about the films behind her eyes. Homespun and self-produced, she released her debut single ‘esoteric’ in the aspen-yellow mountains of Utah in 2023, combining fairytale vocals with haunting undertones that have become intrinsic to her music.

The Australian-American has continued to expand her sonic world with her latest nostalgia-tinted debut album, "Somewhere in North America," an immersive project blurring the conceptual and the anecdotal.
